In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the official announcement, "A strange encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
