Waste criminals have deposited a massive amount of rubbish in a field in Oxfordshire.
The "environmental catastrophe developing in full view" is up to 150m (490ft) in length and 6m (20ft) tall.
The enormous heap has appeared in a open area alongside the River Cherwell close to Kidlington.
Elected official raised the situation in parliament, stating it was "risking an environmental disaster".
An environmental charity reported the unlawful garbage pile was formed approximately a recently by an criminal network.
"This constitutes an ecological disaster developing in public view.
"Daily that passes raises the threat of toxic run-off reaching the river system, contaminating wildlife and putting at risk the condition of the complete catchment.
